Smooth and almost buttery flavour down your throat. Not bubbly. Considering it being a lager, I was surprised by its richness. Flowery finish. It definitely does not have a metallic taste whatsoever as last time I had experienced. (Top fermented?)

Wild Dog Barrel-aged Gonzo Imperial Porter
Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout
Rating: 7/10

Almost black and a hint of wine-like red in colour. Smells like soy sauce and bitter caramel. Overall, it's sour. In taste, the journey starts with creamy to bitter and sour. This bitterness dissappears slowly leaving the first creamy and mildly sweet aftertaste. This lingers around on the nose for a long time after you finish swallowing. It seems to keep developing. It finishes with a warm and huggy taste. Definitely a great winter drink.

Realization
I should really start writing the review as I drink the beer.
The memories of the past experience seem to fade away too quickly.
I'd like the next beer hunting targets to be Emerson's Weizenbock, Pilsner or Epic Pale Ale.
